Perth, Western Australia [9th November, 2009] Western Australia’s international film festival is now inviting submissions from filmmakers across Asia. The event is looking to increase the number of Asian films included in its official selection in line with its growing profile as the most exciting film festival in the Oceanic region.

At a time when all other major Australian film festivals are scaling back, Revelation continues to go from strength to strength. The event is fast becoming the most important stop on the Australian independent film festival circuit, attracting filmmakers, distributors and film fans from across the world. The carefully chosen showcase of international films screening at Revelation generate significant media‘buzz’ across Australia and the world.

Each year, Revelation invites a select group of international filmmakers to attend the event in Australia to present their film and meet with local screenwriters, producers, directors, distributors, and other industry representatives. The event provides an outstanding networking opportunity for those seeking current or future partners.
