KMIA ( Korea Mining Industry Association)  visited Perth between 8 to 11 June to explore investment opportunities in medium-small mining projects in WA.
The Korean delegation also visited mining sites producing gold, nickel, iron ore, mineral sand, copper and zinc in Kalgoorlie and Southern West regions, and took a valuable time for WA Resources Investment Showcase on 8 June organised by Hartleys and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
KMIA established in 1918 as an industry association of small to medium size mining/investment companies in Korea and currently has 74 member companies.
WA Government has assisted them by arranging meetings with relevant government parties, Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA, and Geological Survey of WA.
